Google I/O 2010
Hello from San Francisco!
I have been out here for a week so far and it has been wonderful. The first few days, Jason and I spent time working on what we could before IO. We were really hoping that Google would release more of the source code that goes into creating a Wave server. Lo and behold they sure did! They haven’t released the whole thing but, baby steps.
Google I/O was awesome. Jason and I went to bootcamp the day before io kicked off. The Moscone center was a lot less crowded and was nice to see and meet people without all the IO noise.
Overall the conference was amazing. Not only did I learn a whole bunch and meet very interesting people, but I got two free phones! I feel obligated to develop and android app now. The Google party was a mix between a rave and a robot wars show.
